Plants from all over the world can be found in the National Botanical Gardens, with the Great Greenhouse Collection containing plants from South America, South Africa, California, Chile, the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands amongst other places.
The herb garden contains medicinal plants, and in the Woods of the World you’ll see impressive trees and shrubs. Visitors can enjoy events, talks and workshops that will enhance their understanding of the plants that they’re viewing, and can enjoy the festivals and live shows hosted regularly within the grounds. There are also two cafés and a restaurant, as well as a garden shop and a plant shop selling flowers, plants, tools and decorative items.
