At Acorn Bank, you’ll find an interesting herb garden containing more than 250 plants used for culinary and medicinal purposes.
Insects, birds and small mammals thrive within the gardens, and there are orchards with native fruit trees. A walk along Crowdundle Beck will take you to the watermill, and you can stop at the tea room for a light bite to eat. A National Trust property, Acorn Bank also includes a shop stocked with souvenirs and with plants to take home.
