Bath Assembly Rooms

Including Bath’s Fashion Museum, the Bath Assembly Rooms make up one of the best attractions in Bath for those that enjoy history and architecture.

The building was completed in 1771, after being designed in 1769. A venue for socialising and entertainment, favoured by the richest and most elite of Bath’s residents, the Assembly Rooms building contains beautiful furnishings and elegant fittings with detailed marble and plasterwork. After being bombed in 1942, the Assembly Rooms were restored to their former glory and are now a National Trust property with an on-site fashion museum and bookshop.
