What some of our guests have to say…

Customer Rating:

Thank you for a lovely stay. We loved the way that all your staff are so happy and helpful with nothing too much trouble. The views across the harbour from our room were magnificent and relaxing on your balcony with a drink from the bar was so pleasant. Running makes me sort of an expert on porridge and your chef makes the best I've tasted in a long time. All meals were plentiful and delicious, especially the duck and mushroom pudding with its enticing crunch. Great! xx

Customer Rating:

Stayed at the hotel with friends for a short break as we were celebrating birthdays. Having stayed at the George in Hexham earlier in the year we were delighted that standards were the same and we received the same excellent welcome and service at the Portpatrick. Had standard room with sea view, clean and comfy, the staff were great as was the food, well presented and delicious, even the weather was kind, I am sure that we will return in the future for another visit. Good value for money.
