With 50 bedrooms over two floors, the hotel is a historic building dating back to the 1700s. It is set in a beautiful location by the North Tyne river, just five miles from the market town of Hexham. Game fishing is extremely popular on this stretch of the river, with permits available at the hotel. Northumberland National Park is situated just five miles to the West.
