The Deer's leap restaurant is the perfect room for your wedding breakfast and evening reception, for up to 90 guests for a sit down dinner and a 150 guests for the evening reception.
During the summer months arrangements can be made for the wedding breakfast and reception to be held in a hired marquee on the lawns. With spectular views across lake Derwentwater, this spectacular backdrop would make the most inexperienced camera owner a budding photographer, and the ideal setting for your perfect day.

The Derwentwater Hotel has banqueting suites suitable for a variety of wedding celebrations, from the more intimate party's right up to the larger wedding breakfasts and receptions. Whatever the size and style of your event, our Wedding Co-ordinator can help you choose the suite that is right for you, and rest assured, you will receive the same care and attention to detail whatever the size of your wedding. Traditional or New...
If your wish is for a traditional wedding of a formal breakfast and evening reception our Deer's Leap Restaurant or Garden Marquee will provide the perfect setting. If you are one of the growing number of couples who are deciding to marry abroad but still want to share your celebrations with your family and friends when you return, or if you are looking for an informal celebration, we have introduced a new specially designed choice of themed buffets for you. So if you get married abroad we can host an evening celebration with a buffet menu themed to reflect your special day.

Directions to The Derwentwater Hotel, Keswick

Leave the M6 Motorway at junction 40, penrith. Pick up the A66 and follow signs for Keswick and Cockermouth. After approximately 15 miles you will come upon direction signs for Keswick (disregard all 3 turnings) and continue on the A66 for Cockermouth. After approximately 150 yards after the last direction sign to Keswick, a left turning is signposted for Portinscale and Grange. Take this turnoff over a small stone bridge and past the Farmer Arms on the left. Carry on through the village until the road bears sharply right. Turn left on the bend in following the brown Direction signs for the Derwentwater Hotel and Derwent Manor and we are a further 50 yards on the right. |
