Its location, is adjacent to the Harrogate International Centre’s Exhibition Halls and the Royal Hall. There are five private rooms to choose from for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception, including the spectacular Wharfdale Suite for up to 200 guests for a reception.
The Wharedale Suite can accommodate up to 200 guests for a reception. It is a magnificent room with natural daylight, a stained-glass dome, large bay windows and direct access to the gardens and BBQ area - an excellent setting for wedding receptions or private parties.
The Swaledale Suite is the hotels largest room and has amazing versatility. This suite is situated on the ground floor and access can be gained from the front and from the rear of the hotel.
The Nidderdale Suite is located on the ground floor at the front of the hotel, With large bay windows this room offers ample natural daylight together with air conditioning. This suite can be opened up with the Calderdale Suite.
The Calderdale Suite is located on the ground floor at the front of the hotel and overlooking the Royal Hall. The Suite benefits from natural daylight and air conditioning, together with an Annexe. This suite can also be opened up with the Nidderdale Suite.
The Nidderdale & Calderdale Suite is delightfully versatile, well - appointed, situated on the ground floor, at the front of the hotel and overlooks the Royal Hall. This suite benefits from original Edwardian features, with large bay windows and air conditioning

We can offer menu ideas for your reception from our extensive Banqueting Menus, which have been carefully selected to offer maximum diversity whilst understanding the demands of taste & budgets, or we can work with the chef to create your own favourite dishes adding your own flair and style to the occasion. Wedding Breakfasts can be catered for parties between 10 and 180 people and Evening Receptions from 30 up to 220 people.

If your wish is for a traditional wedding of a formal breakfast and evening reception our beautiful suites will provide the perfect setting. If you are one of the growing number of couples who are deciding to marry abroad but still want to share your celebrations with your family and friends when you return, or if you are looking for an informal celebration, we have introduced a new specially designed choice of themed buffets for you. So if you get married abroad we can host an evening celebration with a buffet menu themed to reflect your special day.
Our chefs have designed a host of menu ideas and choices to suit your wedding whether you are having a traditional wedding breakfast or an evening party. We offer the best quality food and service to a very high standard. Here is just a small sample of what we can offer:

At The St George Hotel we combine the individual charm of the original Edwardian building with all the modern facilities and creature comforts. Here at The St George Hotel we offer special accommodation rates for your family and friends attending your wedding, One night stay £45.00 per person per night on a Bed & Breakfast Basis, including free use of leisure facilities. Children up to the age 14 stay free of charge on a Bed & Breakfast basis when sharing a room with 2 adults
We have a variety of rooms to suit your guest's requirements. We do advise that you confirm your requirements as soon as possible and we will be happy to offer a special overnight accommodation rate to any guests wishing to stay with us. Directions to The St George Hotel in Harrogate
Located in the centre of Harrogate on the A61, opposite the Royal Hall, across from the Tourist Information Office and adjacent to the Harrogate International Centre Halls. From A1/M1 motorway take exit 47 and follow the sign to Harrogate, and Tourist Information Office. From the west take the main A59 from Skipton, again follow the sign to Harrogate Centre and Tourist Information Office. If you are visiting the hotel via rail, then please alight at Harrogate Station. You can either get a Taxi from directly outside the station, or you can call the hotel and we will arrange for you to be picked up. If we have advanced notice, we can arrange to pick you up as soon as you arrive. The closest airport to Harrogate is Leeds and Bradford Airport, about 30 minutes drive. Again, if you require transport to and from the airport, please let us know in advance and we can then arrange transport.
