Our Premier RoomsThis is often our most luxurious room option. Most Premier rooms have four-poster beds and spacious en-suite bathrooms with baths and separate showers. They are larger than a standard room and will normally include a comfortable seating area, 32 inch flat screen digital television, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Upgrades to Premier Rooms start at just £17.50 per person per night.

Our Superior RoomsIf you don’t want to splash out on a Premier room but would like a little extra comfort, a Superior room is a great option. Each Superior room will typically have luxurious beds, a 26 inch flat screen digital television and a spacious en-suite bathroom with shower over bath. Superior rooms also have tea and coffee making facilities. Upgrades to Superior rooms start at just £12.50 per person per night.

Each Coast and Country Hotel is different, so it’s only natural that each has its own character – especially when it comes to dining. Many of our restaurants have fine views but all will offer menus featuring both traditional and contemporary dishes that change on a daily basis. Wherever possible we use fresh and locally sourced ingredients. We have recently extended our dinner option to offer even more choice. So why not push the boat out a bit with our New a la carte menu which offers a great range of delicious dishes to supplement the table d’hôte dinner menu included in your break? What's more, all guests staying on a half board basis will receive a discount from the a la carte menu prices. Sample A La Carte MenuStartersTempura Prawns Succulent king prawns deep fied in a light tempura battr and served on a bed of mixed leaves and a sweet chilli dipping sauce. Smoked Salmon Scottish smoked salmon garnished with a lemon wedge, capers and cracked black pepper and served with brown bread. Indian Snack Selection Onion bhaji, vegatable samosa, spinach pakora served with a yogurt and mint dip. Main Course8oz Sirloin Steak Grilled 8oz sirloin steak prepared to you liking and served with grilled tomatoes, field mushrooms and steak cut chips. Fillets of Sea Bass Two pan friend sea bass filets on a bed or crushed new potatoes served with seasonal vegetables. Grilled Duck Breast A plump breast of duck served on a bed of crushed new potatoes and chef's own sauce served wuith seasonal vegetables. DessertChocolate Tart A rich chocolate ganache on short bread pastry served with cream. Eton Mess A blend of meringue pieces mixed with thick cream and fruit. Our Relaxing Terraces and GardensCoast and Country Hotels are renowned for their locations. Often in commanding positions overlooking stunning views or right at the heart of town, many of them have delightful gardens and terraces where you take in the scenery or take in the ambiance.The Imperial Hotel, Exmouth, has four acres of stunning grounds to explore whilst The Portpatrick Hotel at Portpatrick in Galloway enjoys some of the finest views of any of our hotels. It stands on a promontory overlooking the whitewashed houses and harbour of the pretty port. The St George Hotel, Harrogate, meanwhile, enjoys a fabulous location in the centre of Harrogate and has a popular terrace to enjoy a drink or cream tea. |
