The Perfet Haven

This was our 1st visit to the hotel. We were on a 5 day self drive holiday, a break for myself and my husband. The help desk lived up to their title with the help they provided when I booked the holiday. We needed a room with a shower and not a bath and were allocated Room 20. This room is designed for people with a disability and has excellent facilities. It is a ground floor room located opposite the reception and dining room. The staff were all very kind and friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Friendly Service and Gluten Free Dining

We were extremely pleased with the friendly amd efficient service provided by all staff in the hotel. In particular we were very appreciative of the care all the restaurant staff took to ensure my gluten free dietary requirements were met providing separate bread and rolls and substituting courses as necessary. This service enhanced our stay and made dining worry free.

The standard room was excellent, food was fantastic and all the staff were extremely polite and friendly and very well trained. The hotel has a very large car park so no problems with parking. All in all a very enjoyable stay. We can certainly recommend this superb hotel.

If you want to have a relaxing break in Stratford upon Avon the Charlecote Pheasant Hotel is the place for you. We got back from our five day stay a week ago and I already want to go back! The food was fantastic, the room was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Thanks to both the hotel manager and the restaurant manager for taking the time to chat to us and make us feel welcome. We will definitely be coming back.

Quiet break, lovely hotel

If you want a quiet break at a lovely hotel, this hotel and rural setting is for you. Couldn’t find anything to find fault with, and there's no one more fussy than my Mrs., food was excellent, staff helpful and friendly, nothing too much bother for them, and a special mention to manager John McGhee, who has a first class team and who was always available to answer any queries you had. That personal touch he gives to guests goes a long way. Maybe other managers we've met over the years should copy.

The Charlecote Pheasant Hotel

Just returned from a Shearings holiday based at your hotel. Room good, food excellent (especially the facility to also choose from the A la carte menu), entertainment on two nights first class. Staff were so helpful and polite. We didn't receive our complimentary bottle of wine (as promised in the brochure for four nights or more and feel this should be taken up with Shearings). All in all an excellent holiday. Thanks.

Great location

Thank you to all the staff at the Charlecote Pheasant. We had a 3 night break in July. The only criticism would be the very busy restaurant at breakfast. Food often ran out although the staff were very willing to replenish it. The hotel was full that week-end so a few more staff would have been useful to avoid the rather long delays! The hotel is in a fabulous location and our standard room was good value for money. The quality and variety of meals was good ....excellent value, thanks to all.

Lovely Rest

We had a lovely time at your hotel. The only faults we found is that the TV could have had freeview with the time of digital we couldn't believe we only had five channels. Also the lounge was a little for the amount of clientele that was staying there. Wish we could have stayed longer perhaps next time.

Fantastic Value

This is, in our opinion the best Coast and Country Hotel we have stayed in. We have stayed in Coast and Country Hotels before. Our room was in the farmhouse block we did upgrade. That said, the food was to a very high standard the dining room was modern clean but in a traditional coach house theme, the staff were so polite and nothing too much for them. This with the lovely setting of the area has made this holiday one of our best we will be returning here.

Pleasant & comfortable holiday

Room 5 was first class, good space & excellent en suite. The style of the property & set in the countryside made for a relaxing stay. All staff were friendly & helpful ; everywhere appeared very clean. We had stayed here last Sept & liked the refurbishment that's been made. We think the 1st sitting for dinner should be 6 pm ( instead of 6.30 pm) so that the 2nd sitting is not so late in starting ! Very good value for money. Thanks to all.

Unbeatable Value

Had a basic room but this had been modernised with a new spacious bath room and free view TV. Efficient and very friendly staff from all departments. Excellent food with a reasonable choice and fast but unobtrusive service. Very acceptable entertainment on a couple of nights and some inclusive drinks. WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT? AND ALL AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE!

Despite the hotel being in the middle of a refurb, it was a very pleasant place to stay. Even the basic rooms are very comfortable, the food was very good, the staff are lovely, really friendly and helpful and we enjoyed all of the three nights entertainment provided (music and comedy). The hotel is in a great position for enjoying the local area. Excellent value for money and would recommend.

A Great Break

My wife and I stayed at the Charlecote Pheasant Hotel for 4 nights at the end of September. We paid a supplement of £10 pppn for a Superior room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the room was well appointed and comfortable, the meals were very good and the menu was varied each day. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was cleaned meticulously every day. We had no complaints whatsoever about this very good hotel and would certainly recommend it to anyone.
