A warm welcome to The Savoy Hotel...

The Savoy has been around a good while, from when it was built in 1912 replacing an old villa called Ebaston House. Over the years it has had an interesting history including a spell as an artillery records office in World War II.

Our location on the south beach is one of our big selling points, turn right out of the hotel and 20 metres away is the beautiful beach and sea beyond. 10 minutes gets you to our historic Bournemouth pier and for shoppers the town centre is just a 15 minute stroll.

We are proud of our gardens, pool and croquet lawn that stand between the hotel and the sea. it is great to have a quiet drink on our terrace taking in the scenery – hard to beat on a sunny day.

The hotel restaurant serves an excellent range of modern and traditional cuisine. The refurbishment has given us a wonderful restaurant with garden views. We also have a terrace which is perfect for sitting outside in the Summer. We like to change our menus to give you variety. Below is a sample menu to wet your appetite.

Many come to enjoy the beautiful beaches we have down here – they have to be some of the best in the UK. The nightlife is so good and varied, with a wide choice of pubs, bars and restaurants within minutes walk of the hotel, you’ll be spoilt for choice. For trips out and about, the New Forest is very popular, our guests love the place.

My stay at The Savoy Hotel...

Short Break at The Savoy Hotel

We stayed at the Savoy from 12 to 16 April. After reading some of the reviews we almost cancelled that would have been our loss. We had a double room in the attic room 403. We found the room to be bright and airy with lovely views over the garden and right out to sea. We paid the extra for a garden view and it was well worth it. The food was good and the service was excellent. Would suggest you upgrade even if it is just to get a room with a garden view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My stay at The Savoy Hotel...

The Savoy Hotel Review

Mrs B. Foster and Mrs J. McIntyre stayed at the hotel last year in 2009 and found the food of excellent quality. Mrs B. Foster found the fish and vegetarian dishes o.k. As she does not eat meat. The stay was enjoyable.
