Our Stylish Bars and Lounges

All hotels have bars and lounges where you are free to spend as much or as little time as you like. Many of them have been designed to reflect the character and charm of the hotel, whilst others have been tastefully decorated in a modern style. So if you want to meet friends, relax with a drink or enjoy a cup of tea or light snack during the day they are perfect. In the evenings our lounges are places to enjoy an aperitif, unwind after dinner or take stock of a busy day out.

Making more of your stay

For many people, staying at a Coast and Country Hotel means taking time out to relax and enjoy the facilities as much as it is to explore the local area. Taking a swim before breakfast, relaxing with an hour being pampered in the spa or shaking off a few calories in the gym can make all the difference to the way your day goes. Sometimes, as we all know, it’s nice to stay in one place and do nothing but relax.

Many of our hotels offer extra facilities. As a guest of Coast and Country you will be more than welcome to make the most of them. They include the following but please check with your choice of hotel first:

  • Indoor and outdoor swimming pools
  • Spa and Sauna
  • Tennis Courts
  • Snooker Rooms
  • Fully equipped, state of the art gyms
  • Golf Courses

Wi-Fi Access

In the public areas of our hotels you can access our Wi-Fi facility.

Our Relaxing Terraces and Gardens

Coast and Country Hotels are renowned for their locations. Often in commanding positions overlooking stunning views or right at the heart of town, many of them have delightful gardens and terraces where you take in the scenery or take in the ambiance.

The Imperial Hotel, Exmouth, has four acres of stunning grounds to explore whilst The Portpatrick Hotel at Portpatrick in Galloway enjoys some of the finest views of any of our hotels. It stands on a promontory overlooking the whitewashed houses and harbour of the pretty port. The St George Hotel, Harrogate, meanwhile, enjoys a fabulous location in the centre of Harrogate and has a popular terrace to enjoy a drink or cream tea.
