Welcome to Coast & Country! We’re a UK-based leisure hotel operator, with 14 hotels across England, Scotland and Wales.

Our tagline – “inviting hotels in stunning locations” – explains exactly what we do. Each of our hotels has been chosen because it’s in one of Britain’s best resorts, often occupying a prominent position.

Each hotel has its own unique charm and character, and many also offer superb leisure facilities.

Coast & Country was established in December 2008. Since the brand was established, over £5 million has been invested in upgrading the hotels to Coast & Country standard, which is consistent with the hotel industry’s three-star rating.

Our hotels are Hospitality Assured accredited, we’ve won the Award for Best Employment Practice from Excellence Through People, and we’re certified Investors in People. Many of our hotels have been awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. We have also been shortlisted for several prestigious industry awards, including British Travel Awards and TTG Travel Awards.
Hospitality_Assured Hospitality Assured is the quality standard created by the Institute of Hospitality and accredited businesses must demonstrate they meet the awards standard for service and business excellence. Hospitality Assured is a process of continuous improvement to encourage businesses to look at their own operation from the customer’s perspective and to see where improvements should be made to benefit the business.  This is done by looking at how businesses score against the criteria in Hospitality Assured's nine step standard from customer research through to service delivery.

Excelence_Through_People Coast and Country Hotels are proud to hold the prestigious Excellence through People award from the British Hospitality Association which recognises and encourages best employment practices on recruitment, training and development, recognition and rewards, benefits and employment policies.

The aims of an Excellence through People employer is to encourage the development of employees to full potential through training, development, communication and involvement.  This underlines Coast and Country Hotels commitment to training and developing our staff to help towards the achievement of both personal and business goals.

Investors_In_People Coast & Country Hotels are totally committed to the training, development and well being of all of our people. Investors in People is a nationally recognised framework that helps organisations to improve their performance and realise their objectives through the effective management and development of their people. Having Investors in People accreditation involves working to a sophisticated framework of best practice. Regular Independent reviews are undertaken independently by Investors In People assessors to ensure that companies who have achieved accreditation continue to work within this framework.

BTA-October-2013-CCH The British Travel Awards are the UK's leading consumer travel awards. Voted for by the Great British public, winning a BTA is a seal of approval from the people who really matter – our customers. For this reason, we were delighted to receive recognition from the BTAs in 2013, winning the bronze award for Best UK Mid-scale Hotel Group.

tripadvisor-certificate-of-excellence-2013 TripAdvisor's Certificate of excellence is an award that is given to members of the hospitality business that are proven to be outstanding, and we have received praise and recognition in reviews from TripAdvisor travellers.

In order to qualify for the award businesses need to maintain an overall 4-star or above TripAdvisor rating. Receiving this prestigious award places us in the top-performing 10% of all businesses worldwide on TripAdvisor, so we're incredibly proud of our hotels that have obtained this recognition.

Feefo Gold Trusted Merchant

The Trusted Merchant award is only available to Feefo merchants, and based upon the data received over the duration of the previous year.

To gain Gold Trusted Merchant status, a business is required to receive an average Service Rating of between 95% and 100%, over a minimum number of individual feedbacks.

The ratings and reviews collated by Feefo are verified via review data, which ensures that only those guests that have genuinely stayed with us are invited to provide feedback.
