A warm welcome to The Imperial Hotel (Tenby)...

Tenby is a special town, big enough for a good range of things to do and a great choice of bars and restaurants, but small enough to be charming and intimate.

Built into the old town walls, the Imperial has recently undergone a large refurbishment giving it a beautiful new restaurant and lounge with stunning views across the beach and sea to St Catherine’s Fort.

If an early evening drink takes your fancy, our patio terrace will take some beating, set directly above the beach and sea, it gets the late evening sun right until it sets in the west – perfect after a busy day’s sightseeing. The refurbishment means we now offer some stunning Premier and Superior rooms, for special breaks.

Local Insight

13 years ago I moved here to work here for a month and I am still here! I think the main pull for me is the sea and the beaches, here in Tenby and nearby at Saundersfoot, Stepaside and Amroth. In my opinion, they are some of the best in the UK. I never tire of the boat trip across to Caldey Island, home to the monks, or a trip out seal spotting. A visit to the beautiful St David’s Cathedral still inspires me.

The tranquility of Colby Woodland Gardens or the grander Botanical Gardens of Wales are both well worth a visit.
